These shapes are used for monograms, greetings, short messages, symbols, or other embellishments. I like to include at least one “message cookie” with each box or plate of cookies. It’s a nice alternative to a printed greeting card...and so much easier to chew.
These Brown Butter Cookies are a gourmet twist on sugar cookies. They have a deep, rich, caramelized taste, and are decorated with white and dark modeling chocolate. The embossing gives them an added elegance, sort of like a cookie in a tuxedo.
I’m a little obsessed with cookie cutters...ok, maybe more than a little. You can’t have too many as far as I’m concerned. My family, however, definitely does not understand this obsession so I’ve stopped talking about it! The shapes alone can inspire me to create something unique. I don’t see any harm in getting just one or two more, do you?
